Read & Write for Google is a Chrome extension that offers a variety of powerful literacy support tools to help struggling students gain confidence with reading, writing, studying, and research. Attendees will create a free trial account if they don’t already have one. They will then discover and explore the tools within the program first hand. Learners will see how the tools make documents, websites, and PDFs more accessible to students struggling with reading and writing. Features include word prediction, text to speech, live annotation, dictionary tools, voice typing, text translation, highlighting, and more. This Chrome extension can be used on a PC, Mac, and Chromebook.
